There is a personal freedom that Jesus wants to place in our lives. This freedom is to be fully free of self and enemy and be fully enamored by the Man Jesus! It is to be fully alive in who He called us to be. Free from lies and free from heartache. I want to make a point here though, I am not talking about a feel good gospel. What I am describing is actually a broken place. A place of hurt that we ourselves or other people have inflicted on us. The place of brokenness is the key to freedom. The place of brokenness is the very place where we find ourselves, which is our Shepherd's voice. Once we recognize what is inflicting us, we can invite the healing power of Jesus into that place.
I met a woman who had some interesting beliefs and basically she believed in a "divine principle". What I felt from the Lord is that she was taught to bury the very brokenness that she was running from. Rather than going to the hurt and repenting of living from there, she hid it and ran from it. I have had a similar experience where I ran from who God was calling me to be and tried to find my identity in my gifting rather than my sonship. God has called each and every one of us to live out of being sons and daughters of the Most High. Where our world stops revolving around ourselves or an idol and starts revolving around the Father! The Father wants to go to the place of brokenness and set us free. He wants to share what He thinks about what happened to us and share who we really are. He wants to share this personally. Not through my blog or through a sermon or through anything but His Voice!!! The Father in Heaven is after our hearts and after our beings. He wants to take us into a level of being sons and daughters until the King returns! And after? We are still sons and daughters! This is true freedom and true redemption since the fall. We lost our place as sons and daughters and Jesus is taking our hand into Heaven saying, "This is who you really are!!" Freedom is at the very place of where the chains are. How do we get free if we don't unlock the chains? How do we allow God to heal our wounds from the chains if the chains are still on? We, myself included, have been lied to for too long. The key has been placed in our hands by Jesus and He is saying to us that our sins are forgiven and now it is time to walk in that freedom!!! It is time to rise up as sons and daughters of the Father in Heaven and run after His heart!!! FREEDOM!!!
