AFRICA!!!!!!

After three tries of trying to do a video blog, I guess the Lord is telling me to write instead of speak.

My heart at the moment is burning for the countries of Nigeria, Cameroon and South Africa. If you read my previous blog, you know that I am headed off to those countries. I would like to share my heart on the specifics of what I know that the Lord will have us do there. In my prayers, and from different brothers and sisters of the body of Christ, I have been getting and feeling that the presence of God is really key to what will happen there. I was reading Romans 15 and strongly felt that that would be what our mission was. Paul states that he will bring the full blessing of Christ Jesus to the Roman church and that he would come in joy and be refreshed by their company. I feel that my brothers, Dan Baumann and Chase Cofer, and I are going to do something along the lines of that. Because our God always has something new for us, I believe that it is going to look and sound different then what Paul mentions.

There is crisis in Nigeria and they need the Lord Jesus Christ. We are just a small part of the bigger plan of what Jesus is doing in those countries. I feel like He is ready to pour out so much on that country. They are hungry and waiting for His word and by His grace we get to partner and spread what He has put on our hearts. Pray that the Joy of the Lord is our strength.

Logistically, I need $3,000 in order to complete the task that Jesus has set out for me. I trust Him completely to provide. He has spoken to me about a certain way that I would receive this amount, so please pray that our Father's will be done. I can't wait to share the things that the Lord does through us.

Please pray for His love to be our main task, His joy to be our strength, His light to shine brightly in that country, His provision of all things as we travel and need provision with finances, His will to be done in our lives and for our eyes to be fixated on Him.

In a DAZE!!!!

How do I summarize 3 months worth of the Love of Jesus encountering both myself and everyone around? How do I summarize how the Lord Jesus moved in a closed muslim country through a group of hungry people? I have no clue but maybe when I start typing my heart will show.

Jesus truly met us on our journey into both the countries of Oman and the country of Dubai.

Our adventure began in Dubai where we spent our first days sort of jet-lagged but also on fire for the Lord. Our Father is so good to us and He proved it over and over again throughout our journey but especially through the body of Christ that we met in Dubai. They are a tight nit family that has a hunger and drive for Jesus and His presence, but on top of that they just like each other and want to be with each other. Of course there is a supernatural side of this, but the Lord has done such a good work in their heart that they are naturally lovers of people. They met us at the beginning of the trip and the end of our trip. Please be praying for the U.A.E. they are hungry and ready for Jesus to encounter them. Please pray for the body of Christ there burning for Jesus to encounter them and people around them. Thank you.

Oman is truly ready for Jesus to encounter the people. Because of security reasons I cannot say much about what has happened, but please feel free to email me or even call me. We connected with a stellar body of Christ down there and they are on fire. They completely received us with open arms. I thank the Lord for the body of Christ because they are so easy and willing to help around the world.

The Omani people have this huge kingdom mindset when it comes to relationship. They understand the importance of relationship over regulation and rules. Looking through the Word of God(the Bible) it clearly shows that GOD was looking for RELATIONSHIP!! After relationship was established with God, the regulations and laws followed. The law is only in the Bible to show us(humans) what sin really is. It is not their to condemn or put us into a place of guilt, but to show us the right way and throw us into the arms of God.The Omanis are very ready for Jesus and His love. Jesus is also ready to pour out His encounters with them. My team and I had a few encounters ourselves. Oman is on the verge of breakthrough , so please pray for that country and the people there. Pray for souls to be won by our Savior.

I am back in Kona releasing my family(the students) in the Awaken DTS back to their homes. I am so impressed by their growth through this six month experience with God. They have truly come to grasp just a piece of God's heart and character and have truly invaded my heart. They are awesome lovers of Jesus and awesome lovers of people, which that, is the Gospel.

My heart is overwhelmed with emotions it's unbelievable. I don't know what to feel so I feel like nothing is coming out. There is a cry waiting to happen, a laughter just dying to spring out, a scream on the brink of booming, and many more. All I hear from God is, "Just relax". Discipling people for six months straight is not something done by our own strength but with the grace of God and the joy of God it's possible. It has been the best seven months of my life and I will keep doing it until the day I am with the Lord Jesus Christ. Discipling the body of Christ is on my heart whether it is with Ywam or outside. My heart burns to see the body of Christ awakened to their true identity in Him and the simplistic heart of Loving Him and Loving People.

I have about three weeks of rest before I head out to Africa for a tour of speaking in DTSs and just doing life with my friends Dan and Chase. Please pray for the Spirit of God to lead us and show us how much He is pursuing us. Please pray for Africa and the people we will encounter there. I will be leaving Jan. 14- Feb. 24. Please partner with my walk and let me know the different things you get in prayer or even if you have an encouraging word. Please pray for finances because Africa is on the other side of the world and that the Lord's will be done. Please keep me in prayers for this coming year because I believe it's going to be bigger than I have ever experienced. True Love

True love is the essence of human life. It's the beginning, mean and end of our existence. The heart of true love is what drives us to places we could never go or do on our own. So, what is true love? Jesus the King of kings is true love. He exemplified this through sacrifice, service, friendship, fellowship, discipleship and many more. He loves us so much He won't stop pursuing us and He won't let anything or one stop Him. His eyes are fiery and lit for His passion for us and who we are. He wants us to be propelled into places with Him that will pierce our hearts for Him and for people all over the world. From this place of love what happens?
We, as people not just the body of Christ, are longing for His love, and have an overwhelming desire to receive it. In your immediate mind and heart you might not see it, but as you look to Jesus and who He is you can't help but wonder, "what if He really is love?" What if the creator of the universe is at work and is pulling on your heart to receive who He is? The God of the universe LIKES you!! He loves you, yes, but He LIKES you as well. Receive His love and He will do the rest.
This is the place I am at right now in this moment, and this is the place I want to be for the rest of my life. The place of being so captivated by this Man, Jesus and realizing that He is alive and He does like and love me. Seeing His beauty and grace and mercy upon my life over and over again. Never taking my eyes off of the One who sits upon that throne shooting down His rays of love upon His people (which is everyone). Being captivated by the heart of God, I believe, is the best place you could ever be in your entire existence. My prayer is that you see this King of kings for who He is, and you see that He is pursuing your heart by the second and He wont stop. All He wants is for you to realize that He is good and loving.

The God of Heaven

How great is our God who wants to commune with us? He is the provider, the faithful one, the almighty, the most incredible one. He truly showed how faithful He is last week when finances were due for the first outreach deadline. He provided before for lecture phase, but this one was epic. The Lord lead us into a place of finding true community through Him. We were lead into a time of giving, sharing and LOVING on one another to lift each other out of this burden. Our family, Awaken DTS, is growing beyond what we could ever have fathomed. The staff, students and everyone involved with the school are experiencing God. True Jesus. Real Holy Spirit. The family of Christ is being awakened. I'll ask again, how great is our God?

The Lord has been taking me through a new awakening as well. I have been praying and waiting for the Lord to brew in me a new thing. I believe that this breakthrough has arrived. My spirit is calm and the Lord is speaking. Usually, when the Lord speaks I am stirred in my spirit man and go CRAZY!! Sometimes we need to stop and wait upon Him and see what He does. I love growing with the brothers and sisters around me. They are all an encouragement in my series of sprints with Jesus. The sprint is about to take off again.

I would like to thank those that have partnered with me. I would love to get into contact with you even if the support was through prayer alone. I believe the Lord wants to emphasize that this is a partnership between Him, me and you. So, please I would love to pray for you as you are praying for me. The Lord is truly a good God. A great God. A wonderful God! Amen?? Words can't even begin to describe what, how, who, why he is. I pray that you would experience Jesus today, now. As you are reading this, I pray that the Holy Spirit comes and encounters you with how much God loves you. He loves you so much He gave His Son for you. This is just the start of the race to eternity. I'm running ahead who wants to join? COME ON!!!!!!

Blowing My Heart and Mind!

I'll first start by stating our outreach locations. We have teams going out to Oman, Azerbaijan, North India, India, Haiti, South America, Thailand and Cambodia, and China. I am taking a team to Oman. This country is in the Middle East and is located right below the country of Dubai. I am co-leading with a wonderful woman of God named Katherine. As of now, we are taking a team of five students and the two of us as leaders. The one thing that I believe the Lord wants from me for the finances of this trip is to ask my readers for support. Before deciding, I want you to know our heart and our vision behind this calling. Katherine had Oman on her heart for several years and has had different confirmations that led her to this season in leading a team. I believe I am being sent by Jesus to be a backbone of prayer for our team and for Kat. We have only met once with the team but if you were there you just absolutely felt the leadership behind their hearts. Our heart for the five students is to release them into their destiny with Jesus, which is to be loved by Him, love Him and love others for the rest of their lives and into eternity.

Our school has been very interesting. The first Mystery Fun Night, which is a day of just hanging out as a school, broke out in healings after we saw the movie The Finger of God.

We saw gold dust(real flakes of gold) appear on a couple, legs growing out, backs healed and legs healed as well. The Lord is moving and moving with power. He is not only doing things in the physical but as well as the hearts of everyone involved in the school. The Lord is moving in a way where we cannot comprehend or understand what He is doing but it's something BIG!! Raw Jesus is walking into people's lives and ruining(good way) them from the inside out. Please keep us in your prayers and pray that the Lord continually shows Himself in even more miraculous ways.

As for my life, the Lord is just wrecking me(again in a good way). He has been revealing some interesting yet challenging information about my life and my heart. Please pray for more hunger for Jesus in my life. It's ALL about Jesus. I pray that if you do not know the Love of the Father that you look to Jesus and ask that He truly encounters you with the Love of God. You will never be the same if He does. I pray that you are open and receptive to what the Lord Jesus has for you and that you never take your eyes off of the King of all kings. Bless God and God Bless you.

Experience Him

This past week has been so amazing! Last year in my DTS, we received a word of going forward and up with the Lord. This week truly has been forward and up. The Lord is reshaping how I view things, how I know things, how I experience things and everything.. just everything is being transformed to His liking. I love it!!!! Experiencing RAW JESUS! Words can't describe what the Spirit is doing here. Our only job is to let Him wash us away with His tidal wave of LOVE. We continually go into His heart deeper and deeper and anyone that is not feeling Him in the physical is surely feeling what He's doing in the spiritual. There's a down pour of His presence, His tangibility, His love that cannot be contained or controlled. I have one of two choices, obey and walk with Him in the way of His love, or go home. The second is not an option because I have experienced the REAL RAW JESUS.
The students are amazing and I am so honored that the Lord put a bunch of Elijahs in our class. 60 prophets that are going to walk out in His love. Walk out in things this world cannot even wrap its mind around. His flame of love IS here and my prayer is that they let themselves burn(I am not saying in the physical). The Lord loves them so much and one by one they will start to know and understand this. I am so excited for them and my heart burns for them to experience RAW JESUS because His heart burns for them to experience Him.
I am going to take a team somewhere in the world. I can't say where because the countries for our school are not released to the students. My leader, Andrew, has asked us to raise the finances for this trip early so that we wouldn't have to worry about finances. To us, it is not about money at all. Money is like a million down the list when it comes to priority, but God does call us to be faithful to what He asks and gives. I believe He is asking me to step out in faith and the first step is to ask people to journey with me. I would like to ask you if you would want to journey into this season with me in prayers and with finances. Please take this to the Lord. If you are not led or do not have a peace then don't, but if you do please do and obey the Lord. Again, this is not about money, it's utterly and completely about God. Thank you and I pray the Lord blisses you. With much Jesus.

Radical Love

The Lord is good, great, wonderful! He is amazing. Although it has been hard these first couple of weeks here in Kona, the Lord is forever faithful and His grace is all sufficient. These first four weeks have been full of meetings, contacting students, getting to know new people and dealing with the things on my own heart. Put that in your mixing pot and you have one worked man, but the Lord did say that we would have to toil and this first part of this season is building massive character in me and my brothers and sisters around me.

The Lord is ready to push this massive wave of love that is going to wipe us out and we don't/can't do anything about it except stand there. As of now, it's the calm before the storm. I have been waiting for this season for a year. We have officially named our DTS the AWAKEN DTS. The more we sit and think about what the Lord has put in front of us, the more we realize that we have about 60 people's lives in our hands. We have the privilege to call out people's destinies and run and shape and disciple and even be discipled by the people coming. The Lord is gracious and that graciousness is all sufficient.

I felt that the Lord wanted me to leave a word for whoever comes across this piece. That sounds pretty radical because I don't know if there are going to be 100 pair of eyes or not even one. Maybe mine is the only one. I believe that this is what we need to walk out in, which was what Jesus walked out in. Proverbs 9:10 states, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." In Isaiah 11:3 it says of Jesus, "and he will delight in the fear of the Lord." I challenge you to walk out in the delight of the fear of the Lord as I will also challenge myself. I pray that the Lord blesses you and that you receive His blessings.

Here in Hawaii!! Not just a vacation!

This is my first blog and I welcome whoever has decided to come along on this journey with me. My prayer for this blog is to bless and be blessed by our Lord and share what is on my heart and receive what is on yours.

The last month has been very interesting. I have been here with my old/new family in Kona, Hawaii and these weeks have been a true blessing. My walk with the Lord has just taken off and I am going into a season of Revival of my heart that I can't explain. I am anticipating and expecting the Lord to do amazing things with me and my family here. We are waiting for our NEW family members to arrive, also called students.

The past 4 weeks have been full of getting to know each other as staffers. We have 18 staff members and 1 Leader by the name of Andrew York. He is an amazing man of God that truly seeks the Lord's heart every second. The Lord has given me the opportunity to partner with Andrew, and He has blessed me to partner with you as well.
